What is vegan sparkle? Vegan treats make you feel good, our events make you feel good, and the vegan future makes you feel good! Make sure you come along to get that sparkly feeling!

In 2017, we worked as part of a team to organise the first ever Reading Vegan Festival. We were soon contacted by many other councils, BIDs and shopping centres asking us to launch vegan events in their towns, starting with Wokingham Vegan Market in 2019. Since then, we have added several new events to our portfolio.

We pride ourselves on running vegan events where everyone is welcome, while adding a touch of SPARKLE: Supportive, Promoted, Atmospheric, Reputable, Knowledgeable, Local and Ethical.

Village = part of another event; market or Fiesta = 1-3 times a year; Festival = a big annual event.

SARAH

Founder and Event Manager

Sarah has been in the events industry since 2014 and she loves to create occasions that result in beautiful memories. She is a passionate vegan with lots of connections with plant-based and cruelty-free businesses. She was also the presenter of vegan show 'Utopia' on Blast Radio, a speaker for Animal Aid and the fundraising manager for Animal Justice Project. Sarah is PRINCE2 project management qualified and has a diploma in event management with distinction. Her personal instagram is @theredcarpetvegan.

JEANETTE

Event Coordinator and Administration Assistant

Jeanette coordinates some markets, assists with admin tasks and is a social media whizz. Jeanette has been in the industry since 2011 and enjoys coordinating fun and fabulous events that align with her vegan values.

NIMISHA

Event Coordinator

Nimisha (pictured on the right) is a devout vegan and an avid follower of Sparkle Vegan Events since the start. Her background is in sales & marketing, but she now looks after diversity, equity and inclusion in HR. Having run a small business of her own, she can also relate to the needs of our trader family. Nimisha is ready for action and excited to be an active member of the already exploding vegan events community.

ELLA

Event coordinator

Ella is a self-confessed cat lady who loves to travel and search out vegan spots all over the world. She works full-time in marketing but loves getting hands-on at the events (as well as sampling all the different food options of the day!)
